A Note From Your Instructor
Thank you again for joining in the conversation about collaboration and working with SEITs. Thank you also for all that you do to support your kiddos and families thrive while at your school.
I've included a few things that I promised.
I have attached the article that I referenced. I highly recommend you give it a read. HERE IT IS!
The language difference that I couldn't access during the workshop: On a child's IEP, when it states "Regular Early Childhood Center Selected by parent (ECP)" this limits SEIT to take place at school or a camp rather than at home or in the community. When it states "Childcare location selected by parent" services can take place at the home and in the community. In general, all DOE services are intended to take place while a child is at school.
