Sarah Wheeler
Sarah Wheeler is the Supervising Lawyer for the Reproductive Justice Clinic at NYU School of Law, where she both teaches and practices law with students, focusing on a range of topics related to reproductive health, rights, and justice. Before that, she was a litigation associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP.
Sarah is a parent of two daughters and a son, all of whom went to Beginnings Nursery School, where they learned that they can dream anything into existence when they mix found materials and imagination. The ingenuity they developed through this kind of play at Beginnings regularly shows itself in their approach to problems, even as their schoolwork involves fewer cardboard boxes and stray pieces of wire! Sarah is delighted to be able to help bring access to materials-based play and learning to more children throughout New York City.
